What you will be doing:
We are hiring a senior-level Data Engineers to design, build, and support data solutions in Microsoft Fabric. L2 engineers will own stories end-to-end, contribute to design, and uphold engineering best practices with a focus on PySpark, KQL, and robust SQL.
Required Skills & Experience
• 4–7 years in data engineering/analytics with demonstrable delivery in cloud data platforms.
• Hands-on PySpark and Python notebook development.
• Strong KQL skills or readiness to rapidly ramp with demonstrated query strength.
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with performance tuning.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent (e.g., Databricks/Synapse) with willingness to adopt Fabric patterns.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric components: Lakehouse/Warehouse tables, notebooks (Python/PySpark), pipelines.
• Git workflows and experience with VS Code/Visual Studio.
• Agile delivery experience; comfortable writing own stories/tasks in ADO.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.
Nice To have
• Data Vault modeling experience and star schema design.
• CI/CD implementation experience (ADO Pipelines/GitHub Actions) and test automation.
• Power BI experience: data sourcing/cleaning, dataset modeling, visualization, custom
