☁️ Cloud Data Platform Support Engineer

What You'll Do

✅ Manage, monitor, and support cloud infrastructure environments within AWS and/or Azure

✅ Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across cloud platforms, networking, databases, and data services

✅ Configure and optimize cloud networking components, including VPCs/VNETs, security groups, load balancers, and connectivity solutions

✅ Deploy, maintain, and support cloud-based applications and data platform services

✅ Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance

✅ Perform root cause analysis and drive resolution of critical production incidents

✅ Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tools using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies

✅ Support CI/CD deployment pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives

✅ Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve scalability, performance, and operational efficiency

✅ Manage and support cloud databases and data platform technologies

✅ Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides,



and operational best practices

What We're Looking For

✔️ 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Technical Support Engineering, or similar roles

✔️ Hands-on experience administering AWS and/or Azure environments

✔️ Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and platform services

✔️ Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting distributed systems

✔️ Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools

✔️ Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages

✔️ Understanding of databases, connectivity, and platform performance optimization

✔️ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

✔️ Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills

✔️ Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues to engineering teams

✔️ Interest in expanding skills in data engineering, automation, and AI-enabled tools

Nice to Have

⭐ Experience supporting modern data platforms and data operations environments

⭐ Familiarity with Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT , or similar technologies

⭐ Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and data validation

⭐ Knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows and data pipeline operations

⭐ Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep

⭐ Kubernetes and containerization experience

⭐ AWS or Azure certifications
