ASTRION/SEG supports the U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) by performing trade studies, design prototyping, and analysis of radars, EO/IR sensors, seeker systems, electronic warfare systems, and weapon systems. We are seeking a senior RF signature modeling and tools engineer to lead the development, integration, verification, and delivery of RF signature models and analysis tools used in sensor, radar, electronic warfare, and weapon-system simulations. This role will translate RF physics and customer requirements into maintainable, production-quality software that accurately represents propagation, attenuation, time delay, Doppler, waveform interaction, and the superposition of multiple RF components at a sensor or victim receiver. As a SME, the engineer may work directly with customers and internal stakeholders, guide technical direction, and may lead a team of engineers and software developers.





The engineer will own the full lifecycle of new and existing modeling tools, including requirements, architecture, implementation, test, documentation, release, and sustainment. The idóneo candidate has 15+ years of experience in RF systems engineering, RF signature modeling, signal processing, propagation modeling, and the development of software or simulation products that have been shipped to customers or fielded as part of an operational capability.

Required Skills:
• The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance.
• Candidates must possess a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related technical discipline. A Ph.D. is highly desirable.
