Position Title: Principal Software Engineer
Location: LATAM (Remote)
What you will be doing:
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing solutions for the company, serving as an advocate for engineering decisions. In this role,
you will act as a primary technical leader who bridges executive vision with engineering execution. You will translate complex business needs and operational roadmap targets (such as Digital Twin implementations and Autonomous Execution frameworks) into actionable software architecture across Python, SQL, Go, and AI automation. You will interface with business leaders, lead product/service development initiatives, and work directly with IT and Transportation Management platform teams. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Solutions Engineering.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Related Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience working in a corporate engineering or software development environment.
• Proven track record planning and implementing engineering, analytics, and relationship development.
