As part of our R&D; Medical Service Delivery organization, we are looking for a highly skilled and people-focused leader to oversee financial controlling activities supporting our Specialty Care (SPC) and General Medicines (GenMed) Medical organizations.
This role will manage operational controlling activities for a €1B Medical budget portfolio, including approximately €200M of clinical study investments, while leading a global team of specialized controllers. The position serves as a strategic business partner to Medical Finance leadership, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate forecasting, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across a complex international environment.

Main Responsibilities
• Lead financial controlling activities for a €1B Medical budget portfolio across SPC and GenMed.
• Ensure accurate monthly closing activities,



including accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Oversee the integrity of the Medical P&L; structure and ensure accurate cost allocations and accrual reversals.
• Coordinate forecasting and budget planning cycles, including headcount planning and C1 submissions.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to enable strategic decision-making.
• Support the implementation and optimization of OneCasa and other financial systems.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Medical Controllers operating across multiple integral hubs.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Establish clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Build strong controlling capabilities and subject matter expertise within the team.
