Overview

• World Business Lenders (WBL) is a privately held portfolio lender specializing in real estate-secured business loans for underserved businesses. WBL operates with a fully remote, multinational workforce and an experienced executive leadership team
• Typically, the work schedule is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, though additional hours may be required based on business needs

About The Role

• WBL is seeking a Regulatory Associate to support regulatory research, change management, licensing, filings, disclosure requirements, examinations, and regulatory reporting. This role will help maintain a clear inventory of obligations affecting WBL's lending, servicing, and corporate activities and coordinate timely implementation across the business

What Success Looks Like

• Keeps regulatory obligations, changes, licenses, filings, and deadlines accurate and current
• Converts research into clear summaries, assigned actions, and documented implementation evidence
• Supports complete and timely regulatory submissions and examination responses




• Escalates unclear, high-risk, or overdue matters to the Team Lead promptly

What You'll Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)

• Regulatory Research and Change Management
• Research applicable federal and state requirements affecting WBL's lending, servicing, and corporate operations
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments involving usury, licensing, disclosures, and related obligations
• Prepare clear summaries of changes, affected business processes, effective dates, and recommended next steps for review by the Team Lead or legal counsel
• Update the regulatory obligations inventory and track assigned implementation actions through completion

• Maintain licensing, registration, renewal, filing, and reporting calendars and supporting documentation
