Role Description The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the full revenue cycle, including claims submission, payment posting, and resolution of billing issues for neurology and pain management services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient accounts, verifying insurance coverage, coding services accurately, handling denials, and following up with payers to ensure timely reimbursement. The role involves close collaboration with clinicians, front-desk staff,



and the billing team to clarify documentation, address billing discrepancies, and maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring consistent presence in the practice to support patients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and neurology/pain management procedures.
• Advanced experience with ICD-10 coding and accurate application of diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Expertise in working with commercial insurance plans and understanding payer-specific rules.
• In-depth familiarity with Medicare billing guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve denials, including appeals and re-submissions.
• Minimum 5+ years of medical billing experience, preferably in a specialty practice setting.
