Description
The Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and supporting active transportation operations, ensuring shipments are tracked accurately and delivered according to schedule. The role works closely with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to maintain shipment visibility, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely and efficient freight movements.

Responsibilities
• Monitor shipments in progress and obtain real-time location updates through Track & Trace.
• Confirm driver availability and ensure on-time arrival for pickups and deliveries.
• Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, questions, and operational updates.
• Price and quote ad hoc shipments as needed.
• Source and secure carrier capacity for ad hoc shipments.
• Send, collect, and verify transportation documents, including BOLs, PODs,



and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate shipment information and perform data entry in PCS TMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Follow up proactively on delays, missing information, or changes affecting shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Manage multiple shipments and priorities while maintaining accuracy and service quality.

Requirements
• 1.5+ year of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Dispatch, Freight Brokerage, or a related field.
• B2-C1 English level proficiency.
• Experience with Track & Trace and transportation documentation.
• Experience with a TMS is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
