About the role
a U.S.-based architecture firm, is looking for a Level III Architectural Designer, Semi-Senior to join the team on-site in Medellín. You'll develop and coordinate complete permit and construction document packages for U.S. projects, working closely with project managers, consultants, and clients.
What you'll be doing
→ Independently develop and coordinate complete architectural permit and construction document packages, from design development through construction documentation.
→ Review architectural drawings for accuracy, consistency, constructability, and code compliance.
→ Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, and civil consultants.
→ Review and respond to municipal review comments and prepare revisions and resubmittals.
→ Develop architectural details, construction sections, door/window/finish schedules, and technical specifications.
→ Perform quality-control reviews of drawing sets to catch errors, inconsistencies, and coordination conflicts.




→ Coordinate daily with project managers and senior architects on priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
→ Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, clients, contractors, and municipal reviewers.
→ Maintain project documentation, drawing logs, revision records, and file organization.
→ Research applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and jurisdictional regulations.
→ Support construction administration: respond to RFIs, review submittals, and prepare supplemental sketches.
→ Monitor project schedules and proactively flag delays, coordination issues, or scope changes.
→ Maintain clear, professional communication in English with U.S.-based clients, consultants, and project teams.

What we're looking for
• ✅ Proven experience developing permit and construction document packages for U.S. architecture projects.
• ✅ Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• ✅ Solid knowledge of U.S. building codes,
