Role Overview

Rumsey Construction & Restoration (RCR) is seeking an engaged, persistent, and highly capable Collections & Accounts Receivable Agent to service all RCR locations across both Mitigation and Reconstruction divisions. As RCR returns compromised properties to their pre-loss condition, this role takes complete ownership of the billing, collections, financial tracking, and claim recovery lifecycle for a business where approximately 90% of work is insurance-funded.

Working across our accounting, operations,



and legal workflows, you will manage open invoices, research carrier payments, advocate for homeowners, perform file audits, and negotiate settlements with adjusters to protect company cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable, Billing & Payment Management

Financial Data Entry & Processing: Process payments, verify transactions, calculate financial figures, and classify entries inside QuickBooks® and RCR’s operational platforms in compliance with financial policies.

Accuracy Auditing: Verify billing entries and reconcile statement discrepancies to maintain pristine electronic records and customer correspondence while safeguarding confidential financial data.

Overdue Queue Monitoring: Track daily accounts receivable queues, monitor past-due accounts, and research whether insurance checks have been issued directly to the customer or to RCR.
