About the role:
We are seeking a Financial Accountant based in Colombia who will support the accounting and finance activities of our Mexico and Colombia operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting experience, knowledge of Latin American business practices,
and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders across different countries.
Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Experience working within multinational or shared service environments.
- Exposure to Mexican finance operations is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- General Ledger accounting
- Month-end and year-end closing
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed assets
- Intercompany accounting
- Financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Advanced Excel skills.
