Client Overview
Our client is a growing outpatient mental health practice providing compassionate behavioral healthcare. They are seeking aBilingual Behavioral Health Patient & Administrative Coordinatorto support patients, providers, and daily operations remotely.
Job Overview
This role managespatient communication, scheduling, intake, referrals, EHR documentation, insurance, billing, provider coordination, and administrative support. You will also assist with compliance, contractor payments, and basic marketing activities.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM US Eastern Time (Charlotte, NC), 1-hour unpaid break 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Handle patient calls, emails, portal inquiries, scheduling, and appointment confirmations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, chart notes, faxes, consents, and medical documentation in the EHR.
- Process new patient intake, insurance verification, referrals, and onboarding documentation.
- Review provider documentation for completeness and follow up on missing or incorrect information.
- Process patient payments, reconcile insurance payments, and assist with basic billing and insurance inquiries.
- Coordinate provider schedules, follow-up appointments, referrals, onboarding, and documentation deadlines.
- Assist with Medicaid eligibility checks, prior authorizations, and medical record requests.
- Prepare weekly contractor payment reports and coordinate payment approvals.
- Maintain strictHIPAA complianceand patient confidentiality.
- Schedule approved social media content and assist with basic marketing videos using tools such as Loomly and HeyGen.
Requirements
- Experience inhealthcare administration, medical office, behavioral health, or customer service.
- Experience withEHR or practice management systems; SimplePractice is highly preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanishwith strong verbal and written communication skills.
