Role Summary
The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support across all business units and functional areas in the Andean Region (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela), reporting directly to the Senior Legal Director. In this dynamic role, you will safeguard business operations by ensuring compliance with local regulations and Colgate policies,
while driving strategic solutions in a multi-country environment. You will own the region’s advertising defense and challenge strategy, serving as a key legal partner to foster growth and protect Colgate’s competitive position.
Responsibilities

Provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice across the Andean region covering civil, commercial, labor, regulatory, data privacy, criminal, antitrust, consumer protection, and administrative law.

Lead advertising legal strategy in partnership with Marketing and Global/Division Legal Specialists to assess, defend against competitor challenges, and challenge competitor advertising.

Partner with Procurement and business teams to review, draft, and negotiate contracts while driving the adoption of digital tools such as Onit for lifecycle management and compliance.
