Position Summary
Pond is seeking a Structural Engineer with Data Center experience to join our growing team in Bogotá, Colombia. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis for mission-critical facilities, including hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. This individual will support multidisciplinary project teams in the design and delivery of high-performance facilities requiring exceptional reliability, resiliency, and constructability.




The successful candidate will contribute to all phases of project development, from conceptual planning and detailed design through construction administration and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
- Develop structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Design steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and foundation systems for new construction and renovation projects.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications disciplines.
- Support development of structural solutions for equipment foundations, rooftop equipment, generator yards, and critical infrastructure.
- Perform structural assessments, field investigations, and condition evaluations.
- Participate in design reviews and quality control processes to ensure compliance with Pond standards and client requirements.
