- Lead a strong team in developing and managing the territory strategy, ensuring successful business growth in both the short and long term.
- Initially act as the lead for all capital sales and implementation with the support of the clinical team.
- Build a positive company image and increase market acceptance by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
- Be responsible for developing a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders to promote the rapid adoption of the da Vinci® Surgical System in all major surgical procedures.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government bodies and healthcare executives.
- Oversee recruitment of sales personnel for the assigned territory, lead,



develop and mentor direct reports and generally coach the team towards high performance, talent retention, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with and drive efforts from the market access, clinical affairs, business development, marketing, communication, and government affairs organizations in order to reach the business goals.
- Accountability for the revenue and expenses directly attributable to the territory.
