An important company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an experienced Accounting Leader to join its team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Advanced English level (B2-C1) mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of demonstrable experience in accounting roles across different industries, and at least 5 years of experience managing finance teams.
- Solid knowledge of general accounting and taxation.
- Strong understanding of different accounting information systems.
- Experience managing fixed assets and inventory accounting.
- Experience with statutory, foreign exchange, tax, and other regulatory obligations arising from accounting information.
- Experience leading and developing accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and annual closing processes, including necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and present financial reports.
- Address and respond to requests from statutory auditors and the Tax area.
- Identify and mitigate accounting risks.
- Develop and implement accounting best practices.
- Coordinate and manage internal audits.
- Provide support and follow-up during tax refund processes.
- Manage and coordinate requests for accounting and financial information.
- Supervise, guide, and support direct reports in their daily activities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Train and develop team members while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
