GMS is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to represent our company and clients in Colombia.

This is a dynamic, market-facing role for a tourism professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and executing sales and marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will manage key industry accounts, conduct regular sales calls and partner visits, and represent GMS and its clients at trade shows, sales missions, industry events and familiarization trips.

The role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will help increase awareness, distribution and sales for the destinations and tourism partners represented by GMS. The position requires strong knowledge of Colombia’s travel industry, a commercial mindset, disciplined follow-up and the ability to manage multiple client priorities.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, airlines, OTAs, associations and other tourism partners.
- Identify and develop new accounts,



partnerships and distribution opportunities that generate measurable business for represented destinations.
- Conduct regular sales calls, presentations and partner visits in Bogotá and other priority Colombian markets.
- Deliver destination and product training for travel advisors, reservations teams and other trade audiences.
- Promote destination experiences and itineraries for inclusion in tour operator programs, packages and sales campaigns.
- Develop and manage cooperative marketing opportunities with airlines, tour operators, OTAs and other industry partners.
- Collaborate with GMS marketing and communications teams on campaigns, presentations, newsletters, trade communications, social media content and promotional materials.
- Plan and execute roadshows, sales missions, workshops, webinars, trade events and other client activations.
- Represent GMS and its clients at trade shows, industry events and partner meetings.
