The Department of Psychology is searching for a tenure-track, academic-year position as an Assistant Professor of Psychology. The candidate’s primary area of specialization may be in quantitative methods, or it may be in another subdiscipline of psychology, provided that quantitative methods play a substantial role in the candidate’s research program. Quantitative methods is broadly defined, but may include experimental design, statistical modeling, psychometrics, computational modeling, and the quantitative analysis of behavioral or psychological data. Primary responsibilities include: 1) teaching foundation and advanced courses in statistics and research design within our undergraduate (B.A.) program and graduate (M.A.)



programs in General/Experimental Psychology and 2) supervising undergraduate and graduate research students in an active research program in the candidate’s area of expertise. The candidate will have a workload consisting of 12 WTUs of instruction and 3 WTUs of non instructional activities. Non-instructional responsibilities typically include, but are not limited to, maintaining an active research program, advising students, community service, participating in program development, and committee service at all levels of university governance. Specific assignments depend on departmental needs and the individual's background.
