How can you make a difference?
UNICEF Armenia Country Office is looking for a motivated climate change and emergency professional with experience in developing and managing programmes related to climate change, disaster risk reduction and emergency preparedness and response, with a strong understanding of the national context. The role will lead and contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring and coordination of evidence-based and sustainable climate, disaster risk reduction and emergency programmes in Armenia. It will provide technical guidance and strategic support to strengthen climate resilience, reduce risks to children and communities, enhance emergency preparedness and response, and promote child-sensitive approaches in climate change and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes. Working under the general guidance of the Deputy Representative, the role will collaborate closely with relevant sectoral and cross-sectoral colleagues, government counterparts and other partners.
