Who You Are

You are a Senior Platform Engineer with deep, hands-on Snowflake experience. You know how to run and govern an analytical data platform that many teams rely on. You are a generalist at heart: comfortable across data platform, access control, governance, and operations, and able to join an existing platform mid-stream and contribute on your own within the first few weeks. You work well in a fast-moving,



AI-friendly engineering culture, communicate clearly in writing, and enjoy supporting the analysts and engineers who build on your platform.

What You’ll Do
- Contribute to foundational Snowflake work, including the redesign of the role-based access control (RBAC) framework and the rollout of PII masking and data governance.
- Operate and extend existing platform capabilities (provisioning, access control, and service lifecycle) following the patterns the team has already set.
- Handle business-hours triage: look into data replication issues, review permission requests managed through Terraform (IaC), and troubleshoot stored procedures and tasks using established runbooks.
- Maintain and improve self-service automation for access provisioning, pipeline failure handling, and platform health.
