About This Position

The IDB Group is looking for an active graduate student to be hired as an intern under the Consultant modality.

The 2027 Winter Internship Program is a competitive paid opportunity, based in Headquarters, for university students from member countries to learn about development work and corporate management of the Bank, and to acquire work experience at the professional level through on-the-job learning.

What You’ll Do
- Support the Amazonia Forever team in research, coordination, and knowledge management activities.
- Assist in preparing presentations, briefing materials,



and analytical summaries related to Amazonian development and conservation initiatives.
- Help collect, organize, and analyze information to support project planning and decision-making processes.
- Contribute local and community perspectives to support the design and implementation of activities under the Amazonia Forever initiative.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities with Indigenous Peoples, local communities, and partner organizations across the Amazon region.
- Contribute to organizing meetings, workshops, and other activities related to the Amazonia Forever initiative.

What You'll Need
- Education: An active graduate student in Economics, International Relations, Architecture, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related field from an accredited University. The graduation date should be after the Internship period.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus. Knowledge of an Indige
