The Qualifications We Seek
Skills & Experience
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry, strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical insurance, including PPO and HMO plans, highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong customer service and patient engagement skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls while remaining calm under pressure
- Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Warm, professional, and patient-focused phone manner
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and motivated approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Your Daily Tasks
- Answer high-volume inbound patient calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately
- Respond to patient inquiries about services, providers, and clinic locations
