Education, Experience And Requirements

Candidates with previous experience as a Survey Assistant are preferred
Education in the fields of surveying, geomatics and civil engineering fields will be highly regarded
Knowledge and experience of setting up survey equipment and instruments such as GPS units, levels and total stations, although training will be provided to the right candidate
Basic knowledge of surveying principles and an aptitude for mathematics and an analytical mindset




Effective and concise communication skills are key to this role
Must be able to handle the physical demands of outdoor conditions and the ability to move equipment
Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and desire to learn and progress
Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Hold a valid Class 5 drivers license and provide a clean 3-year drivers record
CSTS-2020, Fall Protection and WHMIS 2015 (training can be provided)
