Responsibilities

- Develop and calibrate automated test code created to check application functionality throughout various technical tiers
- Determine which portions of the application call for automation attention first, organizing test scope by weighing risk against business relevance
- Run cycles of automated tests and sift through the generated results to identify defects before they reach production environments
- Work in tandem with development teams and business contacts to unpack upcoming feature requirements and convert them into clear-cut test strategies
- Steadily revise and bolster existing automation collections to ensure alignment with continuous application changes
- Pinpoint the source of test failures, working out whether the fault lies with the product or with errors baked into the automation scripts
- Take an active hand in developing testing approaches and structures that support new features and wider system improvements
- Get involved in conversations centered on estimating the amount of time and effort testing initiatives will realistically require
- Help keep continuous integration pipelines dependable by confirming that automated tests function properly at each build stage
- Record testing approaches, ongoing obstacles,



and useful strategies to promote shared learning and development across the team

Requirements

- Educational foundation consisting of Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable field of study
- At least three years of concentrated, hands-on experience in the automation testing space
- Reliable, practically oriented Java competency directed toward developing automated testing tools
- Earlier hands-on involvement with Java-powered tools built specifically for Web UI automation
- Demonstrated experience creating automated validation procedures covering both web services and API layers
- Comfort operating version control systems to oversee and document changes to source code
- Solid awareness of the core principles guiding the construction and structuring of automation test frameworks
- Practical exposure to incorporating BDD frameworks into Java-based testing scenarios
- Competent communication skills paired with English fluency at C1 level or above, supporting precise understanding of business requirements and their transformation into agentic architecture approaches
