We are looking for a Data Software Engineering Manager to define the architecture and benchmarking approach for our data systems while guiding the team through data preparation and generation. This role combines hands-on technical contributions with leadership responsibilities, focusing on ClickHouse as the core area of expertise and driving the analysis of results to deliver clear, actionable conclusions for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Define the overall architecture and benchmark approach for data systems
- Guide the team through data preparation and generation processes
- Contribute hands-on to development and technical implementation
- Work with ClickHouse as the main area of expertise
- Run realistic workloads to evaluate system performance
- Drive the analysis of benchmark results and outcomes
- Translate raw data and numbers into clear conclusions for stakeholders
- Lead and mentor team members on technical best practices

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
- Experience working with ClickHouse, Google Cloud Platform, and Python
- Expertise in performance tuning and data analysis
- Proficiency in Gen AI Assisted Development




- Experience leading technical teams and driving architectural decisions
- Background in benchmarking and workload analysis for data systems
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)

Nice to have

- Familiarity with StarRocks and MySQL
- Knowledge of BigQuery
- Understanding of Kubernetes and Prometheus
