We are seeking a Chief DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, deployment, and operation of an enterprise Amazon Connect contact center platform using modern Site Reliability Engineering practices. You will take solutions from concept to production, establish mature DevOps and IaC standards, and drive reliable operations.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end design of the Amazon Connect platform architecture, security, and operational model
- Build complete Amazon Connect solutions beyond contact flow configuration, including APIs and integrations
- Define and enforce Git-driven engineering practices such as branching, code reviews, and versioning
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, and release workflows for platform components
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with AWS CloudFormation to enable repeatable environments
- Automate deployments and governance to improve reliability, auditability, and release consistency
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across Amazon Connect, AWS services, and enterprise integrations
- Establish operational standards for monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement

Requirements

- Extensive Amazon Connect experience (7+ years) in enterprise environments
- Strong AWS architecture experience including serverless and event-driven patterns




- Proven leadership experience owning platform modernization and technical direction
- Hands-on CI/CD experience designing and operating Git-driven pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code expertise with AWS CloudFormation and IaC development and maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud services, integrations, networking, and applications
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

- Octopus Deploy experience for deployment automation
- Salesforce Service Cloud integration experience
