Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development

- Supervise and guide Sales Paralegals and Assistants, reinforcing clear performance expectations, daily priorities, and established processes.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations based on performance data, call observations, quality results, and individual skill gaps.
- Adapt coaching to different learning styles, experience levels, and performance needs while maintaining consistent standards.
- Reinforce approved trauma-informed communication practices, including empathy, active listening, appropriate tone, and respectful communication with clients experiencing fear, uncertainty, or emotional distress.
- Deliver approved training and follow up on assigned development plans, assessing progress through demonstrated skill development and measurable performance improvement.
- Recognize achievements and promptly address performance or behavioral concerns within the role’s authority, balancing empathy, accountability, and professional boundaries.

Sales Performance and Execution

- Execute established sales strategies and guide the team toward assigned conversion, contract revenue, deposit revenue, and case-opening goals.
- Monitor daily and weekly results, identify trends and root causes of performance gaps, and translate findings into timely coaching and operational follow-up.
- Oversee pipeline and follow-up execution, including outstanding promises to pay and pending case openings, ensuring assigned actions are completed within established timelines.
- Hold team members accountable for targets, process adherence, and commitments through consistent follow-up and documented action plans.
- Apply practical, creative solutions within approved guidelines and recommend broader improvements to the Sales Manager when recurring barriers require additional support.

Team Engagement and Culture

- Maintain a collaborative, respectful, and productive environment that encourages open communication, healthy competition, and ownership of results.
- Motivate the team through daily communication, recognition, and approved contests or engagement activities that reinforce performance and the firm’s mission.
- Support team resilience in an emotionally demanding client-facing environment while maintaining professional boundaries and service expectations.
- Model the firm’s core values and reinforce that both the results achieved and the way clients are treated are essential to success.

Operational Accountability and Documentation

- Maintain accurate performance reporting and communicate results, risks, operational challenges, and recommendations to the Sales Manager.
- Keep complete, timely records of training, coaching, development, performance discussions, agreed-upon actions, and follow-up outcomes. Document corrective actions according to established management and HR procedures.




- Ensure Sales Paralegals communicate attorney-approved guidance accurately and remain within established role boundaries, referring legal questions to the appropriate attorney or legal contact.
- Coordinate with QA, Learning and Development, Legal, and other relevant teams to support approved improvements and resolve operational barriers.
- Reinforce process changes and confirm that team members understand and consistently apply updated expectations.
- Resolve day-to-day concerns within the Team Lead’s authority and promptly escalate matters requiring management intervention.

Skills and Experience Required

- Proven experience in sales team leadership, coaching, and performance accountability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness to resolve challenges promptly, with sound judgment about when to escalate.
- Ability to learn quickly and translate new information, processes, and guidance into consistent team execution.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify root causes, interpret reporting, and recommend practical, creative solutions.
- Ability to think quickly and remain composed under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to motivate, coach, and communicate effectively with individuals with varied personalities and experience levels.
- Solid understanding of sales conversion, objection handling, follow-up, pipeline management, and closing within approved guidelines.
- Close attention to detail in reporting, documentation, process adherence, and follow-through.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize competing demands and meet commitments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Experience in legal, immigration, professional services, or sales involving complex client decisions preferred.

Education Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education.
- Demonstrated sales leadership experience.
- Familiarity with legal services and terminology, particularly immigration services, preferred.

Key Performance Indicators

- Gross Conversion Rate: Achieve or exceed the team’s assigned monthly consulta-to-contract conversion target by month-end. Calculate conversion as signed contracts divided by held consultas, multiplied by 100, using approved reporting criteria. Review progress weekly and document actions to address gaps.
- Contract Revenue: Achieve at least 100% of the team’s assigned monthly contract revenue goal by month-end, measured according to the firm’s approved reporting criteria. Review progress weekly and address execution barriers.




- Case Openings: Achieve at least 100% of the team’s assigned monthly case-opening goal by month-end, counting cases that meet established opening requirements. Review pending cases weekly and coordinate timely resolution of barriers.
- Quality Scores: Maintain a team average quality audit score of at least 85% each month, based on the approved evaluation rubric. Deliver and document coaching for below-standard audits within one day of receiving results and assess improvement in subsequent audits.
- Pipeline and Follow-Up Execution: Meet the firm’s assigned monthly follow-up compliance target, measured by actions completed within established timelines. Review overdue items daily and address gaps promptly.
- Coaching Effectiveness and Development: Complete all required coaching and development activities by their assigned deadlines. Review each active development plan at least monthly, documenting progress against its specific performance or skill objectives and escalating unresolved gaps.
- Employee File Documentation Compliance: Maintain 100% documentation compliance for required training, coaching, development, performance discussions, and corrective actions within established deadlines. Review records monthly for completeness, including agreed-upon actions and follow-up outcomes.
