We are presently looking to add a Senior Java Developer to our organization. This role is well-suited for a skilled engineer ready to own intricate builds starting from concept development through to production launch. You'll contribute to constructing and improving services that oversee complex investment information and distributed systems, contexts where accuracy, stability, and scalability are paramount concerns. This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring office attendance four days weekly

Responsibilities

- Structure, develop, and support applications centered on Java and Spring Boot frameworks
- Engineer robust, scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed system elements
- Shepherd solutions across the complete engineering journey, encompassing design, implementation, launch, and continued production support
- Address and remedy involved application and data complications through enduring solutions
- Participate actively in discussions around architecture, technical strategy, code assessments, quality assurance, and CI/CD workflows
- Employ AWS alongside other cloud-native resources to develop steady, growth-ready systems
- Team up with engineering, product, and business partners to generate valuable technical solutions
- Transfer technical insight and coach fellow engineers to help advance their capabilities

Requirements

- At least three years of applied, relevant experience involving Java and Spring Boot
- Demonstrated history constructing APIs, microservices, and distributed system architecture
- Clear command of software design principles, testing strategies, performance optimization, and production reliability




- Extensive experience handling SQL and relational database platforms
- Hands-on background utilizing AWS or comparable cloud service platforms
- Awareness of event-driven architectural concepts and tools including Kafka
- Notable problem-solving, communication, and cooperative abilities, paired with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, enabling accurate grasp of business requirements and their conversion into technical deliverables
- Established track record of independently guiding technical projects while retaining full ownership from initial concept to final rollout

Nice to have

- Previous involvement in financial services, investment management, or capital markets fields
- Knowledge of Corporate Actions and connected investment lifecycle operations
- Direct experience using Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or related technologies
- Experience in constructing or upgrading intricate, large-scale systems
