We are looking for a proactive, collaborative Import Coordinator to support our import operations team across all major transport modes: FCL, LCL, and Air.

What You’ll Do

Operational Support Across All Freight Channels:

- Assist in managing import files for FCL, LCL, and Air shipments from initial pre-alert stage through final billing.
- Review incoming pre-alert documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper uploading and classification in CargoWise and eDocs.
- Prepare customs clearance paperwork and ensure seamless submission to brokers on time.
- Track shipments daily and maintain proactive updates within CargoWise and with all relevant stakeholders regarding status changes or delays.
- Coordinate delivery appointments with local truckers and consignees to mitigate potential detention and storage fees.
- Issue booking confirmations and delivery orders accompanied by necessary supporting documents.
- Track and accrue charges, ensure quoted rates are applied correctly to shipments, and assist with final invoicing precision.

Communication & Teamwork:

- Answer internal and external emails swiftly (within 4 hours for external inquiries, same-day for internal messages).
- Provide proactive, comprehensive shipment updates to clients, overseas partners, and internal business units.




- Escalate complex issues promptly to Import Supervisors and work collaboratively with teammates to find effective resolutions.

Compliance & Data Integrity:

- Ensure every shipment file is fully auditable and compliant with U.S. CBP regulations.
- Supervise ISF submissions and general customs paperwork for overall completeness.
- Maintain clean notes and accurate data entries inside CargoWise to maintain complete integral visibility.

What We’re Looking For

- Prior background in a support or coordination capacity within international freight forwarding is highly advantageous.
- Hands-on experience using CargoWise is a strong plus.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational habits, time management, and critical thinking abilities.
- High attention to detail alongside a service-driven, proactive mindset.
