We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Data Governance Architect to shape scalable governance, cataloging, lineage, and security practices for a unified digital data ecosystem across multiple markets. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define operating models and enable reliable analytics.

Responsibilities

- Define enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and operating models for multi-market organizations
- Architect metadata management, data cataloging, and automated data lineage capabilities
- Establish data quality metrics, monitoring rules, and stewardship workflows to improve trust in analytics
- Align governance controls with privacy requirements and role-based access controls in partnership with security and legal stakeholders
- Lead discovery workshops to assess data maturity, identify gaps, and confirm governance priorities
- Create target-state governance roadmaps that enable scalable cross-border data sharing
- Guide engineering and analytics teams on governance-by-design practices across data products and pipelines
- Advise stakeholders on standards for metadata, ownership, and data lifecycle management

Requirements

- 9+ years of experience in enterprise data governance, including multi-domain operating models
- 5+ years of leadership experience driving consensus across cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Strong project experience delivering governance roadmaps and target-state architectures across multiple markets
- Deep knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK concepts,



stewardship models, and metadata management
- Hands-on expertise with data lineage, data cataloging, and data quality frameworks
- Strong consulting skills for executive stakeholder management and workshop facilitation
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1+)
- Solid understanding of privacy compliance and access control patterns, including GDPR and RBAC

Nice to have

- Amazon Web Services experience with cloud data platforms
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect
- Databricks Unity Catalog experience for governance, cataloging, and lineage
