Our client is a technology-driven organization supporting business operations across retail, marketing, fulfillment, and supply chain. Its enterprise technology environment requires highly reliable, scalable, and secure database infrastructure.

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SQL Server Database Administrator with deep hands-on expertise in enterprise-scale Microsoft SQL Server administration, database internals, and advanced performance optimization.




This role requires more than traditional database administration. The adecuado candidate has extensive experience troubleshooting complex SQL Server performance issues, managing very large databases (VLDBs), designing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, and optimizing mission-critical production environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer, optimize, and maintain large-scale enterprise SQL Server environments, including multi-terabyte databases.
• Perform advanced performance tuning through execution plan analysis, wait statistics, query optimization, index and statistics management, and SQL Server internals troubleshooting.
• Design and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using Always On Availability Groups, Distributed Availability Groups, WSFC, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Optimize storage engine performance, TempDB configuration, I/O, memory, parallelism, and resource utilization.
