Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support manufacturing operations across multiple facilities. These positions are responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing production downtime, and supporting daily manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The adecuado candidate will have a solid mechanical background along with electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment. Depending on the facility, technicians may work with presses, CNC equipment, automation systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, compressors, cold forming equipment, and other production machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and respond to production breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot stamping presses, forging presses, trim presses, CNC machines, conveyors, washers, saws, compressors, blasting equipment, and automated machinery.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and electrical components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot thread rolling, cold forming, and National Machinery equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain eddy current inspection systems.
- Perform equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
- Perform lubrication and scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication schematics,



equipment documentation, and technical drawings.
- Assist with press setup and equipment improvements to reduce setup time and improve production efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and man lifts as needed.
- Perform basic building and facility maintenance as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
- Accurately document downtime, work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Work closely with production and maintenance leadership to coordinate repairs and minimize downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Support wastewater handling duties following required training, where applicable.
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safe-work practices.
- Use appropriate PPE and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication schematics.
- Experience with industrial machinery such as presses, CNC equipment, conveyors, compressors, automation,



or similar equipment.
- Experience with thread rolling, cold forming, or National Machinery equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with eddy current inspection systems is a plus.
- Welding experience, including MIG and/or ARC, is a plus.
- Torch cutting experience is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment effectively.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete maintenance documentation.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Familiarity with quality and environmental systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or similar is a plus.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, reach, twist, climb, and work around or underneath industrial machinery.
- Ability to work in confined or difficult-to-access areas when troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, tools, and parts as required.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. frequently.
- Comfortable working around heat, noise, vibration, machinery, and repetitive movement.
- Occasional ladder use for facility maintenance.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
