About the Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer Mid-Level at Hyland, you'll design, standardize, and continuously improve the core infrastructure platforms that power our enterprise applications, operational services, and critical business systems. You'll bring technical leadership to virtualization, cloud infrastructure, compute, storage, data protection, automation, security, and change management — translating complex business and technical needs into platform standards that are reliable, scalable, and cost-effective. This is a role for a disciplined, security-conscious infrastructure professional who thinks like an architect and thrives on solving complex problems at scale.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do
• Design and maintain company standards for virtualization and hypervisor platforms, covering capacity, availability, system lifecycle,
performance, resilience, and governance; continuously evaluate new technologies — including approved AI tools — to improve platform quality, delivery speed, and operational decisions.
• Lead the design and improvement of automation and scripting to reduce manual work, create consistent results, accelerate delivery, and improve configuration control; create scalable infrastructure designs for public cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments with a focus on reliability, security, and cost management.
• Provide technical leadership for compute, storage, and data protection systems; define standards for performance, availability, backup, recovery, replication, data retention, and disaster recovery readiness.
