Junior Accountant – Tax & Reporting Focus

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Bogotá, focusing primarily on tax compliance, financial reporting, and accounting management.

Key Responsibilities• Tax Compliance & Filings: Prepare, review, and timely submit national and municipal tax returns (VAT/IVA, withholding tax/Retención en la fuente, ICA, and income tax/Renta) in full compliance with DIAN and District Secretariat of Finance guidelines.
• Financial & Regulatory Reporting: Draft accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive leadership and oversight entities (DIAN, Supersalud, Superintendencia de Sociedades).
• Bilingual Reporting: Prepare and translate detailed accounting reports, notes,



and summaries in both Spanish and English for regional stakeholders and international partners.
• ERP & General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate book-keeping, general ledger accounts, and daily accounting transactions using SIIGO or similar software.
• Financial Analytics & Dashboards: Support the preparation and tracking of key financial metrics and health-sector operational dashboards (hands-on training and guidance provided).
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audit procedures, ensuring proper documentation and filing for statutory compliance.

Requirements• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Contaduría Pública) with a valid professional license (Tarjeta Competente).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience managing Colombian tax obligations, municipal levies, and financial report preparation.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Colombian NIIF/IFRS st
