? We’re hiring: Principal AI-Native Software Engineer

We’re looking for an exceptional Staff / Principal-level Software Engineer who has fundamentally changed the way they build software because of AI.

This is not a traditional software engineering role with an AI assistant added on.

We’re looking for someone who uses AI agents — especially Claude Code — as a primary development environment and can take product initiatives from business requirements all the way to production.

? WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Partner with Product and Design to turn business requirements into technical requirements and implementation plans.
- Own initiatives end-to-end — architecture, development, testing, deployment and ongoing improvements.
- Use Claude Code to investigate codebases, plan implementations, write code, generate tests and review changes.
- Run and coordinate multiple AI agents, sub-agents, worktrees and development sessions in parallel.
- Build feedback loops and quality gates to verify AI-generated work.
- Review AI-generated code with strong engineering judgment and reject unnecessary complexity or poor implementations.
- Work across backend, frontend, infrastructure, integrations and internal tooling.
- Design and operate reliable, secure and scalable production systems.

? WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Staff, Principal or equivalent engineering experience.
- Expert-level Claude Code experience — mandatory.




- Demonstrated experience building production software with Claude Code, beyond simple prompting or autocomplete.
- Experience coordinating multiple AI agents and understanding agent context, tools, planning, verification and orchestration.
- Strong TypeScript / Node.js experience.
- Production experience with MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP and distributed or microservice-based systems.
- Strong experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong CI/CD and automated testing experience.
- Production experience integrating LLMs or other AI/ML systems.
- Strong understanding of architecture, security, reliability, scalability and maintainability.
- Ability to work effectively across unfamiliar codebases, languages and frameworks.
- Strong product judgment and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
