Mobly is hiring a part-time marketing designer to become our first long-term design partner. We're a fast-growing B2B SaaS company that helps teams win more from trade shows and events, and because our product is all about in-person connection, we want our brand to feel creative, bold, and genuinely human. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing across web design, sales enablement, campaigns, email, video, and event materials.

Over time, you'll become the design expert who shapes how Mobly looks and feels everywhere.

Who we are

We're Mobly! A fast-growing B2B SaaS startup based in Lehi, Utah. We sell event marketing technology to teams that attend a high volume of trade shows and events.

Why we're hiring for this role

We're at a key point in our company where we're investing more into our go-to-market motion, but strong visual identity is a bottleneck in our ability to communicate our message at scale.

But we don't just want to produce more designs. We want to produce better, more creative, and more human designs. Because we sell technology for in-person events, our message is very human in nature, and we want that to come through in every part of our brand.

We're looking for a part-time contractor who is excited about this mission and willing to become an integrated member of our team: not someone who just checks off design tasks in an Asana board from briefs.

This is a marketing and brand design role, not a product UI/UX role.

Who you'll work with

You'll mostly work alongside our Head of Marketing. Up until now, designs have been internally generated or assigned to disparate freelancers and agencies. This will be the first time the company brings on a long-term designer.

What you'll do

Web & digital

- Web design: design new pages and redesigns in Figma with proper layout, hierarchy, and responsive structure, built for clean web implementation

Sales enablement collateral

- Deal rooms, sales decks, one-pagers, and other collateral that help our sales team win deals




- Customer marketing materials in partnership with our Customer Success team

Social content

- Social media graphics, primarily for LinkedIn, including video

Campaigns & content

- Campaigns and storytelling: when we have a campaign theme, help us tell that story visually. We want your creative direction, not just finished assets
- Marketing email design: help us launch and design an on-brand newsletter and marketing emails in HubSpot (drag and drop, HTML, AI, whatever works for you)
- Video editing and production: occasionally splice together screen recordings and other media into videos, and produce announcement videos for new product releases
- Events: trade show and conference materials, including booth graphics and print collateral

Brand & systems

- Figma cleanup: restructure our existing Figma workspace into a clear, organized system (components, styles, templates) that a team can easily use
- Visual identity: over time, help us refine, unify, and strengthen Mobly's brand identity across every touchpoint

As you get to know the business, you'll become our design expert and help shape how Mobly looks and feels everywhere.

Requirements

- 5+ years of marketing design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech
- A portfolio that includes B2B SaaS or tech work
- Deep expertise in Figma (auto layout, components, design systems), designing with development in mind
- You're looking for a long-term client relationship, not one-off projects
- You take initiative to understand the product, the market, and competitive trends without being asked




- You think like a creative partner and are comfortable proposing ideas and pushing back when something could be better
- You're AI-curious: you've been experimenting with AI in your design workflow and are excited to use tools like Claude Code to bring designs to life
- You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both async and live
- Availability for around 15–20 hours per week, with responsiveness in Slack during core hours (9am–2pm Mountain Time). We'll always try to provide enough lead time for deliverables, but sometimes things come up fast
- Comfortable with a contractor role on a monthly retainer
- Genuine excitement to produce fun and creative work

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience implementing designs with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI tools
- Video editing and motion design skills
- Experience designing marketing emails in HubSpot or a similar platform
- Experience designing for trade shows, events, or print
- Experience with Jitter or other tools for light animation and interactivity

Benefits, compensation, and logistics

- Flexible work: we're looking for someone who can contribute 15–20 hours per week. Work whenever suits your schedule, but we'd love responsiveness during core hours (9am–2pm Mountain Time)
- Fully remote: we're especially interested in candidates in Latin America or other locations with strong overlap with US Mountain Time
- Adaptable PTO: since this is a contractor role, you're free to take time as needed, as long as it's communicated clearly
- Competitive compensation: monthly retainer range of $1,750–$3,000 USD, depending on experience
