QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support our transportation operations. The adecuado candidate will have at least 5 years of proven bookkeeping experience, preferably 5–10 years, with a strong preference for experience working with trucking carriers or freight brokers.

Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate, current bookkeeping records in QuickBooks.

· Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

· Calculate and prepare driver pay and settlement statements, accurately recording applicable deductions, reimbursements, and adjustments.

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including carrier, broker, customer, and vendor transactions.

· Record and update payments, apply payments to invoices, and monitor outstanding balances.

· Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, invoices, and payment records.

· Investigate discrepancies and resolve missing or incorrect transactions.

· Complete month-end bookkeeping and provide timely financial reports to management.

· Organize supporting documentation and coordinate with the company’s accountant as needed.

Required Qualifications

· QuickBooks certification.





· At least 5 years of proven bookkeeping experience; 5–10 years preferred.

· Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements in QuickBooks.

· Experience preparing driver pay or settlement statements.

· Strong experience with payment reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

· Excellent accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.

· Reliable internet access and a suitable remote workspace.

· Verifiable professional references are required.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bookkeeping experience in the transportation industry, particularly with trucking carriers or freight brokers.

· Familiarity with transportation billing, freight invoices, driver settlements, and carrier or broker payment processes.
