This position will participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle and act as a technical reference, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.

This position will participate throughout the entire software development lifecycle and act as a technical reference, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

- Lead the analysis, design, and development of backend services using Python in production environments.
- Design, develop, and integrate robust, secure, and scalable REST APIs.
- Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Design solutions considering scalability, maintainability, performance, and code quality.
- Integrate backend services with other systems, applications, and components within the technology ecosystem.
- Apply software development best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.




- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in system performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and local/general stakeholders.
- Act as a technical reference and provide guidance to junior developers when required.

Mandatory Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software/backend development.
- Strong and recent hands‑on experience developing backend solutions with Python.
- Advanced Python knowledge and strong software development best practices.
- Experience with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and backend application optimization.
- Experience throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
- Strong troubleshooting and complex technical problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
- B2 English level or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams.

Nice to Have

- Experience with microservices architectures.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
- Experience working with distributed or global teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
