The Payments Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of customer billing and payment records. This role manages payment application, billing adjustments, accounts receivable reporting, and revenue-related reconciliations while providing timely support to both internal teams and clients. Responsibilities

- Apply customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all payments are posted and reconciled by month-end to support accurate financial reporting.
- Process billing adjustments, credits, and corrections as needed.
- Review customer accounts to identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) and revenue-related reports.
- Monitor the accuracy of payment and billing data, identifying and correcting inconsistencies.




- Investigate unapplied payments and work with internal teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payments, account balances, and billing discrepancies.
- Manage and resolve internal support tickets related to payments, billing, and customer accounts within established service levels.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Client Services, and Operations to ensure billing accuracy and efficient cash application.

Qualifications

- Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English)
