About The Company

A property developer with a solid track record in residential real estate and a growing pipeline of projects in the Lisbon area. It builds new homes in the upper-mid and high-end segments, with a lean structure in which each development runs as its own business unit.

The role

You will lead a large-scale mixed-use development in Lisbon (residential and hospitality), currently under construction. You will own the budget, planning and delivery from start to finish, and support other projects in the pipeline. You will be involved from the land stage onwards: market analysis, product mix and pre-acquisition coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Define the product and select the architecture firms together with the technical team. Sign off each design stage and the finishes specification.
- Build and track the development's financial feasibility and budget, and correct any deviations from the business plan.
- Coordinate permitting with the technical and legal teams, the architects and external project managers.
- Set the sales strategy: unit pricing, sales channels, marketing, and relationships with real estate agencies and brokers.
- Take part in awarding the construction contract,



making sure it meets the financial target, and monitor its execution.
- Coordinate handover: occupancy permits, bank and notary documentation, utilities and after-sales.
- Report regularly on timelines, sales, and the signing of contracts and deeds.

Requirements

- Solid experience as a Development Manager on the developer side, having managed developments of at least 60 units.
- Hands-on experience across the full development cycle: product, permitting, construction, sales and deeds.
- Proven track record coordinating architects, project managers, contractors and other consultants.
- Engineering background preferred. Architects are also considered if their focus is on leading development rather than on design.
- Fluent English. Portuguese is highly valued, together with practical knowledge of local regulation and permitting.
