At BELT, we create bespoke architectural metalwork for high-end residential and design projects. We’re looking for a senior architect or industrial designer with a strong portfolio of original work and the confidence to lead design conversations with clients in English. You will turn client ideas into compelling concepts, advise on forms, materials and finishes, and collaborate with our technical and fabrication teams to make those concepts buildable.

Your role

You’ll connect the client’s vision with BELT’s design and fabrication capabilities. From early concepts through technical development, you’ll shape proposals, explain design decisions, and guide clients through choices of form, materials, and finishes.

What you’ll do

- Understand client needs and translate project briefs into bespoke architectural metalwork proposals.
- Advise clients on design options, materials, and finishes, balancing aesthetic intent with technical feasibility.
- Develop concepts, sketches, 3D models, renderings, and presentations that clearly communicate your proposals.

- Produce technical drawings and construction details to support project execution.

What you’ll bring

- A degree in Architecture; a postgraduate qualification in Design is a plus.
- At least seven years of experience in architectural design, interiors, or high-end projects, including work on metalwork, bespoke furniture, products, or architectural elements.
- Experience presenting design proposals and working directly with clients.
- Strong aesthetic judgment and the creativity to develop original design concepts
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to lead design conversations, explain technical decisions, and respond to client questions.
- A valid U.S. visa and availability for international travel.

Location & compensation

- Based in La Tebaida, Quindío, Colombia, with required on-site attendance and travel to the United States as needed.
- Compensation: COP 5,600,000, including base salary and variable compensation.
