The role focuses on identifying discrepancies, resolving breaks, and supporting seamless financial operations aligned with customer and regulatory expectations.Key Responsibilities1.1.1 Reconciliation Operations & SupportPerform end-to-end reconciliation across payment systems, host platforms, and external networks (cards, ATM, POS, digital channels)Monitor reconciliation cycles (daily, intraday, batch) to ensure completeness and timelinessIdentify and investigate reconciliation breaks, unmatched records, and financial discrepanciesEnsure accurate balancing of financial and transaction data across systems1.1.2 Exception Handling & Problem ManagementHandle L1/L2 issues related to reconciliation mismatches, settlement variances, and data integrity gapsPerform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for reconciliation breaks and recurring discrepanciesWork with upstream/downstream teams to resolve data gaps and process issuesMaintain documentation of issues and create knowledge articles for faster resolution1.1.3 Settlement & Financial IntegritySupport settlement processes between banks, payment networks (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), and internal systemsValidate settlement files, clearing reports, and financial postingsInvestigate and resolve duplicate postings, missing transactions, and settlement failuresEnsure compliance with financial controls and audit requirements1.1.4 Change, Release & Data Validation SupportSupport reconciliation validation during new releases, patches,
