The School of Finance, Economics, and Government at
Universidad EAFIT (2^nd at the national level according to
IDEAS/RePec) invites applications for a position as Assistant/Associate
Professor in the area of Markets and Financial Strategy. The adecuado candidate
should have training and research experience in one or more of the following
fields: (i) economics (IO) of energy markets, (ii) organizational economics
(theory of the firm, personnel economics, corporate finance) and (iii) the
intersection of urban economics/cities and real estate finance.

The selected candidate will join an interdisciplinary
research and teaching team with national and international reach, and with
close ties to financial institutions, governments, and multilateral
organizations.

Applicants must have a PhD by the starting date or shortly thereafter,




show promise of a strong research agenda (or a track record of publications for
associate rank), and passion for teaching at the graduate and undergraduate
levels.

Based in Medellín, Colombia, EAFIT offers generous research budgets on a
competitive basis. Teaching assignments are flexible and load reductions are
assigned on a competitive basis. Salaries for all ranks are competitive, with
generous bonus payments on grants, publications and consultancy. Tenured track
professors showing promise in their skills will be offered a permanent contract
after a tenure review.
