We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal with strong expertise in EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions to assist with the preparation and review of a case.
The idóneo candidate must have direct, hands-on experience preparing successful EB-2 NIW petitions and understand how to organize and strengthen complex cases involving entrepreneurs, business professionals, and professionals with advanced degrees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review the applicant’s background, proposed endeavor, and existing evidence
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and missing evidence in the case
• Assist with preparation and organization of the complete EB-2 NIW petition package
• Draft and/or review the petition letter and supporting legal arguments
• Assist with the Proposed Endeavor, Personal Statement, Business Plan, and recommendation letters
• Organize exhibits and supporting documentation
• Review academic credentials, professional achievements, business evidence, leadership experience, and evidence of impact
• Ensure the petition addresses the three Dhanasar prongs clearly and persuasively
• Assist with Form ETA-9089 documentation and NIW-related requirements
• Provide strategic recommendations to strengthen the petition before filing
• Experience preparing responses to RFEs/NOIDs is highly preferred
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of direct EB-2 NIW experience
• Must have personally worked on multiple EB-2 NIW petition packages
• Strong legal research and professional writing skills
• Excellent understanding of USCIS EB-2 NIW standards and evidence organization
• Experience with entrepreneur/business-owner NIW cases is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• English fluency required; Spanish is a plus
Important: This position is specifically for someone with substantial EB-2 NIW experience. General immigration experience without direct NIW petition preparation experience will not be sufficient.
