We are currently hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our medical review and underwriting support team. You will be responsible for reviewing veterinary medical records, supporting accurate underwriting and claims decisions, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain high-quality medical criteria across the company.
This is a role for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to work with veterinary information in a fast-growing insurtech environment.
Your daily responsibilities include:
• Review and analyze veterinary medical records to validate the relevance and accuracy of the information provided.
• Collaborate with underwriters and claims adjusters to ensure correct interpretation and application of medical data.
• Assist in the development and updating of policy guidelines related to medical conditions and treatments.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on medical records to support underwriting and claims processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all medical record reviews.
• Stay up-to-date on veterinary medicine, new treatments, and emerging health conditions in pets.
• Communicate effectively with veterinary clinics, pet owners, and internal teams to clarify or verify medical information.

• Monthly salary of COP $2,700,000.
