We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Track & Trace Specialist to monitor shipments, maintain accurate load visibility, and support daily transportation operations. This role is responsible for tracking loads through different systems, communicating with drivers and carriers, updating the TMS, and proactively identifying issues that may impact pickup or delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
• Track loads through TMS and other logistics systems via phone and email.
• Maintain accurate updates on load location, arrival, departure, and delivery status.
• Follow up with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure loads are moving as scheduled.
• Update all relevant shipment information in the TMS for visibility and operational support.
• Identify delays, exceptions, or potential issues and communicate them to the appropriate team.
• Coordinate with planners regarding shipment status, issues, and required follow-up.
• Prioritize assigned tasks based on shipment urgency and operational needs.
• Handle a high volume of emails while maintaining accuracy and timely responses.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Accounting and other internal departments when necessary.
• Follow internal processes, procedures, and system requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience in Track & Trace, Logistics Coordination, or a related logistics role.
Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
Intermodal experience is a plus.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage a high volume of emails and operational requests.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
