Senior Data Engineer – Python & Apache Flink at BairesDev
In this role, you'll build robust ETL/ELT pipelines that keep core business data accurate and trustworthy. This is a hands-on position where your engineering rigor directly determines the reliability of data the business depends on. This is your opportunity to work with modern streaming and data engineering tools, bringing consistency and correctness to data products across the business.
What You'll Do
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Process data from legacy systems, ensuring high correctness for core business data products.
• Design and implement streaming data processing using Apache Flink.
• Maintain data quality and reliability across business-critical data products.
What We Are Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Flink.
• Background in data mesh architecture and data products.
• Advanced PostgreSQL skills.
• Familiarity with AWS.
• Knowledge of dbt.
• Exposure to Airflow.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice To Have
• Experience with Pydantic.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks.
• Experience with microservices.
