Being part of the Grid Automation team, you have full responsibility for the successful execution of control system design, planning, and engineering deliverables of networking and HMI / SCADA for HV&MV; substation control systems. You will develop secure architecture solutions, review on customer specifications and Cybersecurity standards such as NERC-CIP and IEC62443, check and ensure compliance. You will perform customer visits to evaluate the condition and performance of existing solutions and propose improvements or upgrades that ensure compliance with international standards and best practices in cybersecurity and automation.

Teamwork with Bid Management, Project Management, other domain experts in the team, and suppliers in the field of secondary control systems is key to success.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Handle secure architecture specifications for Substation Automation projects
- Develop concept diagrams for secure architecture and virtualization environments for Automation System, including switches, RTUs, SCADA, and IEDs ensuring compliance with international standards.
- Configure, test and commissioning ICS/RTU/SCADA/HMI systems for HV Substation projects in accordance with international cybersecurity standards.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site acceptance Tests (SAT) for ICS baselines.




- Create project-specific technical documentation, such as functional design specifications, Cybersecurity baseline, test protocols, etc. based on international standards.
- Implement Cybersecurity measures in the projects

What You Bring

- Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or comparable education
- 8+ years of professional experience in engineering HMI / SCADA systems for control systems and energy transmission & distribution.
- Strong knowledge of regulations, standards and specifications for cybersecurity systems.
- Strong knowledge of Secure architecture and their implementation in HV substations.
- Deep knowledge of OT networking for Substation Automation architectures.
- Good knowledge in HMI/SCADA software applications and Substation Automation configuration tools such as Zenon (Copa Data), Siemens, SEL.
- Knowledge of process data handling and integration of subsystems in automation systems and of SCADA Communication Gateway configuration and connection to Remote Control Centers.
- Good knowledge of communication protocols used in automation systems such as IEC104, IEC61850 and DNP3
- Strong communication skills in Spanish and English language; Portuguese is a plus.
