Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team and help drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

? Important: This position is intended for Senior/Principal-level professionals. We will only consider candidates with 8+ years of backend development experience, advanced expertise in Ruby on Rails, and proven experience in technical design, software architecture, REST APIs, technical leadership, and the development of scalable web applications.

What You'll Do

- Develop and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Mentor developers and serve as a technical reference across the organization
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams
- Drive end-to-end ownership of solutions from design through deployment and support
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
- Design and build REST APIs and scalable backend services




- Champion quality through testing, TDD, and continuous integration

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience building scalable web applications
- Strong knowledge of:
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- REST APIs
- Git
- CI/CD
- Testing frameworks
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
