Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and recruit qualified Class A CDL drivers to meet hiring goals and support ongoing transportation operations. This role requires strong cold-calling skills, creative sourcing strategies, and the ability to maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified applicants.

Key Responsibilities

- Source qualified driver candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, cold calling, and other recruitment channels.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and submit qualified applicants for further processing.
- Meet the target of hiring 3 qualified drivers per week within assigned hiring areas.
- Manage candidate applications and maintain accurate records in the Tenstreet ATS.
- Prepare offer letters for approved applicants.
- Maintain an active recruitment pipeline to meet ongoing hiring needs.
- Respond promptly to candidate calls, emails, applications, resumes, and referrals.
- Conduct direct sourcing and follow up with potential candidates.
- Track recruitment activities, calls, and referrals in the applicant tracking system.




- Travel as needed to support recruitment efforts in assigned hiring areas.
- Perform additional recruitment-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of Class A Driver Recruiting experience.
- Experience with cold calling and direct sourcing.
- Experience using Tenstreet ATS.
- Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
